Blaze, the mysterious cat, is the guardian of the Sol Emeralds in a strange dimension. One day, the Sol Emeralds, and herself were taken by Dr. Eggman. Blaze arrives in the wrong dimension with no help or the Sol Emeralds. She soon hears a rustling bush, of which Cream and Cheese are hiding. Cream and Cheese decide to help Blaze find what she is missing, and to find Sonic. Blaze is confused as to why they’re helping her and who Sonic is, but she has no choice but to find the Sol Emeralds.
            Blaze is unlocked after beating Sonic’s first boss. She is not as fast as Sonic or as good at jumping, but she is much powerful. Her weapon of choice is her ability to control fire. She uses the fire to her advantage in both attacking and jumping.

             Blaze is also the only known female Sonic character to go "Super." With the use of all the Sol Emeralds, she can turn super. Her hair gets longer, her shirt turns red. Her fur turns a bright pink, and her puffy gloves turn to flames. She goes super to fight one of the final bosses in the game. It is unconfirmed, however, if the her super form is acctually officialy called "Super Blaze."
