Cheese the Chao is Cream the Rabbit’s pet/best friend. Cheese goes anywhere and everywhere Cream goes. He is a neutral blue baby chao, he wears a red bowtie to separate himself from everyone else.

            His first appearance was Sonic Advance 2, as well as Cream’s. He was used as Cream’s method of attack. She tells him what to do, he does it. His next game was a small appearance in Sonic Pinball Party, once again, with Cream the rabbit at his side.

His next appearance was Sonic Heroes. His twin brother Chocola was kidnapped by Sonic, or so it appears, so Cream teams up with Amy Rose, and Big the Cat to help find them. Cheese really doesn’t do much in this game. When Cream runs out of teammates to toss with Thunder Shoot, she will tell Cheese to attack, but that hardly ever happens.

            Cheese then appeared in Sonic Battle, again as Cream’s method of attack. Same goes for his next appearance, Sonic Advance 3. He was a little different in Sonic Advance 3, because when he was teamed up with either Sonic, Tails, Amy or Knuckles, he would transform into a Chao version of one of the four and listen to any who commanded him.

            Cheese’s most recent appearances were in Shadow the Hedgehog, where he made a small appearance in one of Amy’s missions for Shadow. Where Cream and Cheese were lost and it was up to Shadow to find the two, and Sonic Rush, where Cream and Cheese team up with Blaze the cat to help her navigate around the new area.  

            Cheese also made a small cameo appearance in Sonic Adventure DX on a cardboard cutout with Cream for Sonic Advance 2. Cream’s cameo, however, was much bigger since she got a full 3D model.
