Becky the bear is one of the animals Sonic rescues in Sonic The Hedgehog 1,2, 3 and Knuckles. Dr.Eggman captured the animals from the island, and used them as energy for his Badniks.  When you defeat a badnik, or get to the capsule at the end of the level and free the animals. Not much is known about Becky since, animals haven’t really been used since the original Sonic games. And if they have, they weren’t the same animals.
